Manuel oversees the Crop Trust’s partnerships and fundraising work.

Manuel worked at the World Bank Group (WBG) in various capacities from 1999 to 2014; his last post was the International Finance Corporation’s Resident Representative in Bolivia. Throughout his career at the WBG, he worked mainly on government relations, private sector development and external affairs. During his time at the WBG, Manuel worked in the USA, India, Indonesia, Italy, UK, France and Bolivia.

From 2015 until the end of 2019 he worked with UNICEF in Angola, Nigeria and in the West and Central Africa Regional Office in Dakar as Senior Regional Advisor, Partnerships.

Manuel, an Italian national, holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from LUISS University in Rome, and an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
