Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Crop Trust
The Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation (KIADPAI) was founded by H.H. the UAE President, as an appreciation to the innovators and workers in the agricultural and date palm sector, both in the UAE and other countries of the world, to recognize outstanding innovations and efforts targeting sustainable development of this sector for present and future generations.
During the Winners' Honoring Ceremony of the 16th session of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, the Global Crop Diversity Trust (Crop Trust) and KIADPAI will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop a comprehensive global strategy for the conservation and use of date palm diversity.
