19th Regular Session of the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture

The 19th Regular Session of the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture  will be held at FAO headquarters in Rome from 17 to 21 July 2023. The meeting will open on Monday, 17 July 2023 at 10:00 hours. The Session will be preceded by a special event on Saturday, 15 July 2023, to mark the Commission’s 40th anniversary. Regional consultations will be held on Sunday, 16 July 2023.

This year, the Crop Trust will be represented by Peter Giovannini and Janny van Beem, who will speak about genebank standards for national genebanks and the Seeds for Resilience Project at two side events, in addition to participating in the plenary.
