This document summarizes the results of a technical review of the ILRI Forage Genebank conducted in 2025 to assess its progress toward eligibility for long-term support from the Crop Trust. The review evaluates improvements since 2012, including operations, infrastructure, data management and compliance with international genebank standards. While significant progress has been made, the report also identifies areas needing improvement and provides recommendations to strengthen conservation practices, increase germplasm availability and support the genebank’s long-term sustainability.
