Agro-morphological characterization of Burkina Faso rice germplasm

Project Description

During this project with Institut de l’Environnement et de Recherches Agricoles (INERA), Burkina Faso, in collaboration with AfricaRice, characterized 332 accessions of rice for 13 agro-morphological characters and evaluated 140 accessions of rice for agronomic performance. The project identified 10 accessions as good performers in both lowland and irrigated cropping systems in terms of yield.
