- Project Description
- The Institute of Plant Breeding and Bureau of Plant Industry, Philippines evaluated 44 accessions of wild and edible Musa banana germplasm for tolerance to drought and effect of drought on activation of infectious BSV EPRVs. The project identified 3 accessions as potential sources of genes for tolerance to drought and 12 accessions that showed positive activation for BSV EPRVs under drought.
