- Project Description
- This project with the National Research Center for Banana (NRCB) in India, evaluated banana accessions for drought tolerance in collaboration with PROMUSA. Three ABB genome accessions (Saba, Vennutu Mannan and Monthan) were found to be drought resistant and further evaluated for leaf spot. Saba proved to be the most promising variety and suitable for marginal areas.
