- Throughout this project with EMBRAPA, Brazil evaluated 10 accessions and 3 pool sources for tolerance to drought, resistance to corn stunt, resistance to Polisora Southern Rust and Phocosphacria Leaf Spot. The project identified 5 accessions and developed a number of populations as potential sources potential sources of genes for tolerance to drought. The project further developed populations as potential sources of genes for resistance to Polisora Southern Rust and resistance to Phacosphacria Leaf Rust.
