- This project with Coconut Research Institute, facilitated Sri Lanka's characterization and evaluation of 22 accessions of coconut for tolerance to drought and resistance to pests and diseases. The project identified two varieties as potential source of resistance to Aceria mite damage and one variety for resistance to Weligana phytoplasma.
