Project Description
CIP-Kenya will place the 30 landraces from Madagascar and Zambia in vitro, phytosanitary clean the landraces, multiply shoots, acclimate the shoots out of in vitro and repatriate the phytosanitary clean material back to Madagascar and Zambia. CIP will assist logistically in the shipment of dried leaf material from ZARI and FIFAMANOR to Diversity Arrays in Australia for the generation of genetic markers for landraces in the project.
