Project Description

This project with Malawi Plant Genetic Resources Centre agro-morphologically characterized and evaluated 60 cowpea and 141 finger millet accessions for tolerance to drought and tolerance to heat. The project identified 28 cowpea and 38 finger millet accessions as potential sources of genes for tolerance to drought, and 5 cowpea and 3 finger millet accessions for tolerance to heat.
