Project Description

This project with CIAT evaluated 61 accessions of beans for resistance to root rot and tolerance to drought. The project identified 4, 2, and 3 accessions as potential sources of genes for resistance to root rot (M.phaseolina), tolerance to drought, and for the two traits combined, respectively.
