- This project with the Punjab Agricultural University, India, evaluated 350 accessions of Oryza nivara and O. rufipogon for tolerance to iron (Fe) deficiency under aerobic conditions and for a series of traits that have been reported to be associated with water use efficiency. The project identified 4 accessions of O. nivara and 5 accessions of O. rufipogon with tolerance to iron deficiency and water stress.
