- This project was initiated by the Trust for the regeneration and safety duplication of important NARS germplasm collections at the ICRISAT Genebank in Patancheru, India. A total of 4,435 samples representing sorghum (1,705), pearl millet (1,113), finger millet (1,250), chickpea (360) and pigeon pea (7) were received at NBPGR, India the nodal agency for exchanging germplasm in India.
