Molecular characterization of different species of sweet potato

Project Description

This objective of this project was to identify the duplicates in prioritized African, Asian, and West Indies sweet potato Collections. A total of 1,451 accessions were sent to CIP. These were compared with the 559 accessions that CIP previously held in its Trust Collection. Duplicates were confirmed through fingerprinting and an analysis of morphological data.
