- Project Description
- This project with the Centre for Sustainable Development (CENESTA) Iran, in collaboration with farmers, evaluated 160 wheat and 160 barley accessions for yield, baking and nutritional quality and resistance to yellow rust. The project identified 129 accessions of wheat as potential sources of genes for resistance to yellow rust and 28 wheat accessions were selected for agronomic acceptance on the basis of yield.
