- This project facilitated the action plan of AfricaRice after an external genebank review. AfricaRice enhanced the security of their accessions by genotyping 2,000 of the most diverse varieties, characterizing 250 wild species, tesing the viability of 2,000 accessions, and regenerating those that have low viability. The organization also developed a quality management system.
