- Project Description
- In total, this project regenerated 800 accessions of bean, 100 accessions of sweet potato (plus 42 in vitro), 50 accessions of cowpea, 154 accessions of faba bean, and 202 accessions of sorghum. The plants were subjected to drought conditions and tested for moisture tolerance. Once completed, each country involved deposited accessions to national and international genebanks.
