- This project involved several countries in the Pacific Southwest. In total, it regenerated 853 accessions of aroids, 1,064 accessions of yam, 161 accessions of breadfruit, 330 accessions of sweet potato, and 6 accessions of coconut. Germplasm for these crops was derived from in situ and ex situ growers and characterized in situ and ex situ using selected morphological and molecular markers.
