Project Description

This project supported the regeneration of 1,150 accessions of potato. It aimed to alleviate climate change- and weather-related pressure on in-situ potato conservation banks. El Parque de la Papa was identified as being under intense threat; its contents were regrown and duplicated for storage in the Svalbard Seed Vault.
