Project Description

This project involved the regeneration of 210 accessions of barley and of 889 accessions of wheat in Azerbaijan. Farmers and agronomists were consulted about which accessions would be best to regenerate. Plants were evaluated on resistance to diseases, to lodging, and tolerance to a drought.
