Project Description

This project regenerated 1,000 accessions of wheat and 623 accessions of barley in Tajikistan. In addition to the analysis included in the project, local varieties that met criteria of high productivity, medium ripeness, and resistance to lodging were transferred to the Institute of Agriculture for further breeding and genetic work.
