Project Description

This project oversaw the regeneration of 74 accessions of cocoyam in Ghana. A breeder and an agronomist were involved in the selection and characterization processes; all 74 accessions are currently in field conservation at Bunso and Okumanin as duplicate samples to forestall possible genetic erosion.
