Project Description

This project supported the regeneration of 334 accessions of maize, grouped according to their regional origin in Guatemala. Some morphological characters were recorded using CIMMYT's protocols, including the number of emerged plants, the length and width of leaves, the total number of leaves, plant height, and the number and length of male flowers branches.
