- This project facilitated the regeneration of 97 accessions of yam, 52 accessions of taro, 1,230 accessions of maize, and 500 accessions of rice. Each crop was monitored for certain characteristics, including days to emergence, leaf width, kernel color, stigma color, days to maturity, and vein pattern.
