Project Description

A total regeneration of 750 accessions of local crop varieties including Sorghum bicolor (sorghum), maize (Zea mays), Rice (Oryza), Pennisetum glaucum (pearl millet) Eleusine coracana (finger millet), Vigna unguiculata (cowpeas), groundnuts, Vigna subterranea (Bambara nuts) during the 2022-2023 season while another 700 accessions will be regenerated in the 2023 – 2024 cropping season.
