Beri is currently leading a project focused on regenerating and safeguarding seeds of key food security crops from 30 developing countries. This initiative seeks to secure the future of vital genetic resources essential for global food security. Prior to this, Beri successfully coordinated the Crop Trust’s project to collect crop wild relatives (CWRs) of 28 crops across 24 countries. Beri has over eight years of experience in international project management and holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics (ARTS) from the University of Bonn, Germany. Beyond her professional work, Beri enjoys singing in church, cooking, and tending to her garden.
