Douglass Welch

Douglass Welch is Managing Director, responsible for the overall activity of Pemberton Asset Management S.A., the Luxembourg AIFM and is the Portfolio Management Conducting Officer.

Pemberton is a private debt fund manager, with a current Portfolio AuM of $30bn. He is a member of the Investment Committee and responsible for all investment activity, monitoring investment restrictions, allocations and performs other regulatory oversight roles. He also performs governance roles in numerous Pemberton fund vehicles as Manager/General Partner.

He has over 35 years’ experience and prior to joining Pemberton in 2018, Douglass led the London sales-trading activity of UniCredit Bank’s Convertible Bond and Institutional Derivatives units from 2009 to 2017. Previously, he worked 8 years with Citibank, as Head of the CEEMEA Emerging Markets Derivatives business. His career incorporates decades on the trading floors of major financial institutions in London, Frankfurt, and New York. Douglass holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
