With more than 25 years of experience in research management, partnerships, and science communication, Julianne overseas Crop Trust partnerships in Asia, Pacific and the Middle-East, engaging donors and strategic partners to advance shared goals and ensure the effective mobilisation and stewardship of resources that safeguard global food security for generations to come. She is particularly passionate about building high-impact partnerships that translate knowledge, investment, and collaboration into lasting outcomes.

Julianne is also Managing Director of Agriculture Solutions International, an organisation that delivers evidence-based insights for food systems, and holds an honorary position with the University of Queensland's School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability.

Previously, she served as Lead Researcher for the first CGIAR Flagship Report, Senior Advisor for Agriculture Cooperation India with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and Senior Director, Multilateral and Government Partnerships, at the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

Julianne holds a PhD in Ecology, Evolution and Genetics from the Australian National University.
