Heike has spent over 20 years advancing research and policies that address global food security challenges. In her current role at the Crop Trust, she supports the Executive Director in strategic planning, organizational development and external engagements.

Prior to joining the Crop Trust, Heike led research activities at the intersection of agricultural innovation and food systems transformation at the Center for Development (ZEF) in Bonn and coordinated projects to foster trade and investment policies that support sustainable natural resource use at think tanks in Switzerland, Cambodia and the UK.

Heike holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Bonn.
