Natalia is responsible for the Crop Trust’s digital communications and visual design, managing its website and creative output. She helps translate the organization’s work into accessible, engaging content for global audiences. She brings over a decade experience in science communication and media production, with a background in biology and a career spanning multiple United Nations agencies.

Before joining the Crop Trust, she led communications for the United Nations Innovation Technology Accelerator for Cities (UNITAC) at UN-Habitat, developing strategies and content on innovation and urban development. She has worked with UNEP, WHO, and WIPO, producing multimedia content that translated complex global issues into accessible, human-centered stories.

With formal training in data visualization and visual design, she blends analytical thinking with creative storytelling to bring the science of crop diversity to life for global audiences. She studied Biology (B.Sc.) in Colombia and Science Communication (M.Sc.) in The Netherlands and is passionate about research-driven storytelling that informs, inspires, and connects.
